Biography

Mia D. Alexander-Snow is passionate about education and committed to educational equity for all school community members. She has 25+ years of teaching, research, and administration experience at private and public secondary and postsecondary schools (coeducational, single-gender, independent day/boarding schools, and parochial schools) in the northeast, south, and mid-west regions of The United States. As an educational consultant, she assists k-12 and higher education educators with improving organizational culture and climate for student success and institutional effectiveness. Additionally, Dr. Alexander-Snow has online course development and instruction experience and 30+ academic publications and conference presentations about student learning and program assessment; institutional effectiveness; and the impact school culture and climate have on the retention, achievement, and success of underrepresented, underserved, and/or historically marginalized school populations.
